Yemeni Army Reports Hundreds of Operations Against Houthi Forces
Army spokesman Col. Majed Abdullah al-Nuzaili said the campaign targeted Houthi command centers, defensive fortifications, firing positions, reinforcements and supply routes, according to a statement published on X.
He explained that the operations disrupted the group’s field command activities, suppressed its firing positions and prevented frontline units from receiving additional personnel and supplies.
According to al-Nuzaili, the campaign also resulted in the destruction or damage of 117 military vehicles and pieces of combat equipment, alongside the reported neutralization of 239 commanders and fighters.
He said government forces, supported by allied Popular Resistance units, continued strengthening their positions and increasing pressure on Houthi forces in southwestern Taiz province.
Military operations were also ongoing along fronts in Al-Jawf, Marib and Al-Bayda provinces, as well as in southern and southwestern areas, the spokesman added.
Al-Nuzaili said the armed forces would maintain their campaign in line with established military plans, while taking measures to safeguard civilians and civilian infrastructure.
